Matthew Lillard Joins ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Season 2

Matthew Lillard (Scooby Doo) is joining the cast of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, which begins production next week, according to Deadline.

Character details are being kept under wraps at this time. Lillard’s involvement comes on the heels of the season one premiere next week that is already garnering rave reviews from members of the press and media that have seen the first two episodes.

Born Again is a fresh take and continuation of Daredevil (2015–2018), a series originally produced by Marvel Television and released on Netflix. Matt Corman and Chris Ord serve as showrunners, with Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead leading as directors.

Charlie Cox reprises his role as Matt Murdock / Daredevil from Marvel’s Netflix television series and prior Marvel Studios productions, starring alongside Vincent D’Onofrio, Deborah Ann Woll, and Michael Gandolfini. Margarita Levieva, Elden Henson, Wilson Bethel, Zabryna Guevara, Nikki M. James, Genneya Walton, Arty Froushan, Clark Johnson, Ayelet Zurer, and Jon Bernthal also star in the first season.
