And just like that. The web of actors attached to the next Spider-Man film is growing.
Deadline reports that Emmy winner Liza Colón-Zayas, from FX’s The Bear has joined Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the next installment in Marvel and Sony’s joint franchise.
At this point, it’s unclear which character she’ll be playing. However, earlier this month industry insider Daniel RPK reported that casting had begun for some of Peter’s college professors.
She is the third actor to join the film aside from Tom Holland and Sadie Sink. There’s currently no official confirmation if Zendaya or any other actor from the Tom Holland’s Spider-Man Home trilogy will make a comeback to this fourth installment.
We shall see once it hits production sometime this year and set to released July 31, 2026.
Holland is currently filming Christopher Nolan’s fantasy Greek epic The Odyssey in Greece as we speak.
‘Spider-Man 4’ will be directed by Shang-Chi director Destin Daniel Cretton and co-produced by Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal.
