New ‘Toy Story’ Movie Adds Conan O’Brien To Its Collection

It’s hard to believe that the next Toy Story film will be hitting theaters next year. Aside from the info we learned during last year’s D23, not much is really known about it. However, that changed earlier this week when Disney and Pixar announced that comedian Conan O’Brien had been added to the cast.

While it’s unclear what role his character will play in the film, we do at least know his name. He’ll voice a character by the name of Smarty Pants.

He joins a voice cast that includes Tim Allen, Tom Hanks, and Ernie Hudson.

O’Brien also shared the news on his social media platform. You can check it out below!

Directed by Oscar-winning auteur Andrew Stanton, the fifth entry is set to follow Buzz, Woody and the rest of the gang as they try and grapple with a whole new generation of children obsessed with electronics.

Produced on a total budget of $720 million, the Toy Story films have grossed more than $3.3 billion worldwide, becoming the 20th highest-grossing film franchise worldwide and the third highest-grossing animated franchise. Each film of the main series set box office records, with the third and fourth included in the top 50 all-time worldwide films.

The film hits theaters June 19, 2026.
