SEE IT: ‘Avatar’ Meets The Animal Kingdom In New Trailer For Pixar’s ‘Hoppers’

The full length trailer for Pixar’s next animated film, Hoppers, is here!

You can check it out below!

Written and directed by Daniel Chong, the film stars the voices of Piper Curda, Bobby Moynihan, and Jon Hamm.

Directed by Daniel Chong, the film follows a college student named Mabel (played by Disney Channel star Piper Curda). She’s described as loving animals more than people, and she’s grown up near this forest area known as the Glade, which acts as a sanctuary to hundreds of animals. However, her town’s Mayor (played Jon Hamm) wants to destory the Glade and pave over it to make way for a new highway.

Mabel feels hopeless. That is, until she discovers this group of scientists who use this new technology to enter the minds of robots bodies that resemble animals. The technology is used by them to try and understand animals; however, Mabel sees the technology as an opportunity to try and save the Glade. She believes that if she can enter a robot animal’s body, she can convince the other animals to return back to the Glade so that it’s impossible to pave over.

Chong is best known as the creator of Cartoon Network’s hit television series We Bare Bears (2015–2019). He also directed, wrote and executive produced We Bare Bears: The Movie (2020).

Hoppers is scheduled to be released in theaters in the United States on March 6, 2026.
