There’s one more episode left, demigods but there’s quite a few things to talk about in this action-packed episode.

The episode opens up with a flashback of Thalia, Grover, Luke and young Annabeth running to Camp Half-Blood in the night while being chased by three flying monsters. Thalia stays behind to defend them where we get a wide angle shot that cuts directly to morning with a tall pine tree with Chiron and the campers staring at the tree.
Chiron tells the campers about the tree being the way to honor Thalia for sacrifice but Luke is in denial until Chiron mentioned Thalia fought hard to save them until her father Zeus turned her to the tree. Young Annabeth feels and hears Thalia speaking to her from the tree with the branches displaying some gold with older Annabeth waking up from the dream.

MARISSA LIOR WINANS
As soon as Annabeth wakes up, she finds herself tied up in a bed with golden fleece on her until Allison Simms, daughter of Apollo and graduate of Camp Half-Blood snatched the fleece from her.
Then were cut to Percy, Grover, Tyson and Clarisse interrogating Aidan, an employee of Princess Andromeda and retrieve a card to get into the ship where we have both Clarisse and Percy arguing with saving Annabeth and retrieving the fleece meanwhile Allison gives Luke the fleece where he lays it on Kronos’ sarcophagus to heal him back to life.
Both Percy and Clarisse enter the ship with Clarisse in the lower levels searching for Kronos’ army and Percy on the upper deck, stealing a key and freeing Blackjack the Pegasus.
Percy uses Annabeth’s cap to be invisible and finds Annabeth to reveal himself but then goes back to being invisible when Luke enters the room to talk to his hostage.
Annabeth convinces Luke to take the fleece out of the sarcophagus so she can use it to heal the tree and supposedly bring back Thalia leaving Luke tempted but still thinks she’s dead but they didn’t actually witness what happened to her afterwards when she left them to fight the Furies.
Percy enters the room where the sarcophagus is laid until Kronos begins to speak to Percy and manipulates him into telling him about his prophecy until stops listening to get fleece then Luke shows up.
Kronos orders Allison to kill Annabeth so she and a group of demigods find themselves encountering Clarisse.
We get back-to-back action sequences with Clarisse vs Kronos’ supporters and Percy fighting that are well choreographed.
Percy succeeds in escaping Luke until he gets stabbed in the stomach from Luke’s blade in the elevator. He uses the fleece to heal himself and Clarisse wins the fight and reunites with Annabeth until they are found by more of Kronos’ army but then Blackjack saves them.

PERCY JACKSON AND THE OLYMPIANS
Just like in the book, Percy gives Clarisse the fleece so she can take it back to Camp Half-Blood so she can complete her quest. The change this time is Clarisse riding on Blackjack instead of taking the taxi and she even thanks Percy this time showing a much more softer side to the character while still be the tough person she is.
Grover and Tyson helped get a ride by calling Sally Jackson to retrieve them.
On their way back to camp, the group explains to Sally the whole situation about golden fleece and how it will likely bring back Thalia leaving Percy upset after he had a nightmare about Thalia and what she did at Camp Half-Blood.
Meanwhile back at the cruise, a vulnerable Luke questions Kronos until he gets into his head and orders Luke to burn the camp to the ground kill Percy to prove his loyalty to Kronos, ending the episode.
This was a very good episode that did feel rushed but had a lot going on within 30 minutes.
Episode 7 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2 is now streaming on Disney+.
