‘Bluey’ Becomes Most Watched Streaming Series For Second Year In A Row

45 billion minutes. According to Nielsen, that’s how many minutes of Bluey were watched in 2025.

Now, this isn’t the first year the acclaimed children series has nabbed the number one title. It also was crowned number one last year for being the most watched series in 2024. Interestingly enough, it earned that spot with an estimated 10 billion more minutes watched (55.62 billion).

Disney’s reign also extended to number two as, the second most watched show last year was “Grey’s Anatomy,” with 40.9 billion minutes watched on Hulu and Netflix across its 455 episodes.

Stranger Things came in third place with just under 40 billion minutes. The rating service also dubbed Kpop Demon Hunters as the most-watched film of 2025.

Since launching in Australia in 2018, “Bluey” has gained millions of fans around the world, widely lauded for its heartfelt and funny portrayal of family life and celebration of play. The series follows Bluey, a loveable and inexhaustible Blue Heeler dog who lives with her Mum, Dad and little sister, Bingo.

With a feature film scheduled to be released by Disney next year, there’s no sign of its popularity slowing down.
