Fans of Stranger Things will be excited to learn that one of the series’ stars will appear in a brand new film headed to Hulu next month.
Gaten Matarazzo, played Dustin in the series, will star in the adult comedy Pizza Movie.
Written and directed by Brian McElhaney and Nick Kocher (known professionally as BriTANick), the film follows a shy college student and his reckless roommate set out on a simple mission to grab pizza. But after a strange dose of a mind-bending experimental drug, they’re thrust into a chaotic night of absurd encounters, wild hallucinations, and unexpected revelations that could change their lives forever.
Sean Giambrone (The Goldbergs), Lulu Wilson (The Haunting of Hill House), Jack Martin, Peyton Elizabeth Lee (Andi Mack), Marcus Scribner (Black-ish), Caleb Hearon, Sarah Sherman (SNL), and Justin Cooley co-star.
The film will have its world premiere at SXSW this Friday, before debuting on Hulu on April 3rd. The film will also be available on Disney+, both internationally and for bundle subscribers in the U.S.
American High’s Jeremy Garelick and Will Phelps, while Matarazzo also serves as excecutive producer.
