Halloween Time has officially returned to the Disneyland Resort, bringing pumpkins, villains, seasonal attraction overlays, special entertainment, and plenty of reasons to head back to the parks this fall.
Beginning August 21 and running through October 31, 2026, Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure are once again celebrating the season with returning favorites and Halloween experiences throughout the resort.

Halloween Takes Over Disneyland Park
Main Street, U.S.A. has received its annual fall transformation, with hundreds of pumpkins decorating the heart of Disneyland Park. Of course, the giant Mickey Mouse pumpkin is back in Town Square, welcoming guests as they enter the park.
Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and several of their friends are also celebrating the season with Halloween costumes and special character appearances throughout the resort.
One of the biggest traditions of the season is also back with Haunted Mansion Holiday. Jack Skellington and the residents of Halloween Town have once again taken over the classic attraction for the annual The Nightmare Before Christmas overlay.
For many Disneyland fans, the return of Haunted Mansion Holiday is when Halloween Time truly feels like it has begun.
Halloween Hits Disney California Adventure
Over at Disney California Adventure, the Halloween celebration takes on a completely different look.
Cars Land once again transforms into Radiator Screams for Haul-O-Ween, with Halloween decorations throughout the land and some familiar residents showing off their costumes.
Seasonal attraction transformations also return, including Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween and Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree.
After dark, Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! becomes Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark. The attraction continues the story from the daytime adventure as Rocket heads back inside the Collector’s Fortress to rescue Groot.

Plaza de la Familia Returns
Plaza de la Familia is also back at Disney California Adventure, running from August 21 through November 2.
Inspired by Pixar’s Coco, the celebration honors Día de los Muertos and the importance of family through music, colorful décor, food and entertainment.
The celebration has become a staple of the Disneyland Resort’s fall season and once again gives guests an opportunity to celebrate family and remember loved ones who are no longer with us.

Oogie Boogie Bash Is Back
Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party has also returned to Disney California Adventure on select nights through October 31.
The separately ticketed Halloween party brings Disney villains into the spotlight with immersive treat trails, special character appearances, the Frightfully Fun Parade and the return of Villains Grove.
Oogie Boogie Bash has become one of the most popular events of the year at the Disneyland Resort, giving guests a chance to experience Disney California Adventure after hours with an entirely different atmosphere.
Halloween Food and Merchandise Arrive Across the Resort
It wouldn’t be a Disneyland celebration without food, and Disney has rolled out another huge collection of Halloween treats across Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure, Downtown Disney and the Disneyland Resort hotels.
Guests will find everything from Halloween-themed desserts and drinks to returning seasonal favorites throughout the celebration.
New and returning Halloween merchandise is also arriving across the resort, including apparel, collectibles, accessories and plenty of Mickey pumpkin-inspired items.

Halloween Time Is Officially Here
Halloween has become one of the best times of the year to visit the Disneyland Resort. Between Haunted Mansion Holiday, Haul-O-Ween, Oogie Boogie Bash, Plaza de la Familia and all of the seasonal entertainment throughout the parks, a lot is happening over the next several weeks.
