The D23 Expo may be over but the news is still coming!
The Tracking Board is reporting that Game of Thrones writer Vanessa Taylor will rewrite Disney’s upcoming live-action Aladdin remake! The film, which stars Mena Massoud in the titular role, Naomi Scott as Princess Jasmine and Will Smith as The Genie, is directed by Guy Ritchie and tells the story “of a young man granted three wishes by a genie trapped in a lamp and the evil sorcerer who covets the magical object.”
