British Comedian Nick Mohammed To Voice Piglet In Disney’s CHRISTOPHER ROBIN!

The cast for Disney’s live action adaptation of Winnie The Pooh titled Christopher Robin is starting to take shape. The film has already cast its title character, Pooh and Eeyore, now they have found their Piglet.

British comedian Nick Mohammed (The Martian, Bridget Jones Baby) will voice Pooh’s best friend in the film.

Marc Forster (Finding Neverland) is directing the movie, which stars Ewan McGregor as the title character, the little boy from the Winnie the Pooh series who’s now all grown up and has lost his sense of imagination. Thankfully, Pooh and his friends re-enter Robin’s life to help him find it once again. Hayley Atwell (Agent Carter) will play McGregor’s wife, while Bronte Carmichael (On Chesil Beach) will play their young daughter. Mark Gatiss, who plays Mycroft Holmes on the hit BBC series Sherlock, will play McGregor’s boss, who keeps him working long hours that take a toll on his family.

Jim Cummings will once again voice Pooh, with Brad Garrett voicing Eeyore. Tigger has yet to be cast but it’s being reported that the studio was looking at Dustin Hoffman and Martin Short for the role (both have passed). Alan Tudyk who has been Disney’s animations own John Ratzenberger has expressed interest in voicing the character as well.

A release date has not been announced for Christopher Robin yet.
