First Look At Ewan McGregor And Haley Atwell In CHRISTOPHER ROBIN!

It was announced yesterday that Disney’s live action adaptation of Winnie The Pooh would be the film released on August 3, 2018. With the announcement comes our first look at Ewan McGregor as the title character and Haley Atwell!

Marc Forster (Finding Neverland) is directing the movie, which stars Ewan McGregor as the title character, the little boy from the Winnie the Pooh series who’s now all grown up and has lost his sense of imagination. Thankfully, Pooh and his friends re-enter Robin’s life to help him find it once again. Hayley Atwell (Agent Carter) will play McGregor’s wife, while Bronte Carmichael (On Chesil Beach) will play their young daughter. Mark Gatiss, who plays Mycroft Holmes on the hit BBC series Sherlock, will play McGregor’s boss, who keeps him working long hours that take a toll on his family.

Jim Cummings will once again voice Pooh, with Brad Garrett voicing Eeyore, and Nick Mohammed (The Martian) voicing Piglet. Tigger has yet to be cast but it’s being reported that the studio was looking at Dustin Hoffman and Martin Short for the role (both have passed). Alan Tudyk who has been Disney’s animations own John Ratzenberger has expressed interest in voicing the character as well.

Poduction is taking place in England.
