One of the most popular animated series of the early 2000’s was Disney Channel’s Kim Possible. Which revolves around typical high school girl who, in her spare time, saves the world from evil villains. Well now fans of the series are getting more of Kim and company in a brand new form.

According to Deadline casting has begun for a live-action adaptation of Kim Possible.

Not a lot is known about the film just yet but it will be a Disney Channel Original Movie.

The film is being written by Emmy-wining series creators and executive producers Mark McCorkle & Robert Schooley (Big Hero 6: The Series, The Penguins of Madagascar) and Josh Cagan (The DUFF, Bandslam). McCorkle and Schooley will serve as executive producers alongside Zanne Devine. Adam B. Stein and Zach Lipovsky who were finalists on Fox’s directing competition On the Lot will co-direct and co-produce. Blyth Nailling is the casting director.

The animated hit ran for 4 seasons (87 episodes) and had 2 original movies.
