LEGO NINJAGO Director To Direct Disney’s Live-Action/CGI Remake Of LADY AND THE TRAMP!

Just a month ago we reported that Disney was in development on a live-action/CGI remake of their classic animated film Lady And The Tramp, and that the film would be exclusively released on their upcoming streaming service. Now the film has founds its director.

Charlie Bean, who directed The Lego Ninjago Movie, has closed the deal to direct the remake.

Brigham Taylor, who worked on the studio’s remake of The Jungle Book and currently working on Christopher Robin and The One And Only Ivan, is producing the project, Andrew Bujalski penned the script.

The fact that Disney is sending a remake of such a classic film to the streaming service shows just how much faith the company has with the service.

Disney is also sending their remake of Sword In The Stone to the streaming service, along with Noelle starring Anna Kendrick, and Magic Camp starring Adam Devine.
