DEADPOOL Actor Ed Skrien Cast In MALEFICENT 2; Elle Fanning Returning!

Production on Maleficent 2 in the next month, and now the film has found its villain; Ed Skrien who played the villain Francis in the first Deadpool movie will now play the villain, however his character details are being kept under wraps. Also Elle Fanning who played Aurora has officially signed on to reprise her role from the first film. Angelina Jolie confirmed that she would be returning to the role back in October (Reportedly passing on the opportunity to play the Bride Of Frankenstein in Universals now cancelled Dark Universe film from Beauty And The Beast director Bill Condon). Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales director Joachim Rønning has officially signed on to direct (without directing partner Espen Sandberg who also directed Pirates 5 with Rønning).  Joe Roth (Maleficent) will produce the film, with screenwriter No word yet on the release date for Maleficent 2 or if the rest of the original cast will return.
