Production has already begun on Maleficent 2 but Disney has not finished putting the final touches on its cast. According to Variety, Fantastic Beasts actress Jenn Murray has joined the film in an unknown role.
The film will see the return of Angelina Jolie as the title character of Maleficent, As well as Elle Fanning as Aurora. Deadpool actor Ed Skrein recently signed on to play the villain of the film, with Michelle Pfeiffer in negotiations to play the queen. With Harris Dickinson who has replaced Brenton Thwaites as Prince Phillip,and Chiwetel Eljiofor.
Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales director Joachim Rønning has officially signed on to direct (without directing partner Espen Sandberg who also directed Pirates 5 with Rønning). Joe Roth (Maleficent) will produce the film, with screenwriter
