According to the outlet I, Tonya director, Craig Gillespie is in talks to replace Alex Timbers as director of the film. Timbers ran into scheduling issues.
Gillespie is not a stranger to the Disney Company. He directed The Finest Hour starring Chris Pine and Million Dollar Arm starring Jon Hamm, which, all were minor sucesses.
