Disney Villains Series Reportedly In Development For Disney+

Disney is looking to get all sorts of content on the direct-to-consumer streaming service Disney+. Well, thanks to a new report we may be getting a Disney Villains series.

According to Production Weekly, the series, simply titled Disney Villains, is being developed by Once Upon a Time executive producer Steve Pearlman and Quantico executive producer Michael Seitzman, with production slated to begin in the second quarter of 2020.

No other information, such as whether it will be live-action or animated,  cast, plot details or air date has been made available.

Disney’s classic villains are quite popular amongst Disney fans. They have their own shows and parades throughout the various Disney Parks around the world, board games, clothing and apparel, and much more. In 2002,  Walt Disney Television Animation released Mickey’s House of Villains,  based on the animated television series, Disney’s House of Mouse, Which saw the villains taking over the House of Mouse. On the more family-friendly side, their children are the stars of Disney’s Descendants franchise, which sees four of them become better people than their villainous progenitors.
