Hot off her performance as Shuri in 2018’s biggest blockbusters Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War, Letitia Wright has booked her next gig.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Wright is set to join director Kenneth Branagh’s Death on the Nile, a sequel to 2017’s Murder on the Orient Express.
Wright will play Rosalie Otterbourne, a lead suspect in the story, which follows Poirot as he attempts to unravel the murder of a young heiress while on holiday in Egypt. Olivia Hussey played the character in the 1978 adaptation, starring Peter Ustinov and Mia Farrow.
The actress joins a star-studded cast that includes Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Armie Hammer (The Lone Ranger), Jodi Comer (Killing Eve), Branagh reprising his role as the mustachioed Belgian detective Hercule Poirot. The film is due to start filming towards the end of September.
Wright will be seen in Avengers: Endgame next week and is expected to return for the Black Panther sequel.
The Disney owned Fox project Death on the Nile is scheduled to hit theaters on October 2, 2020.
