First Trailer For ‘Noelle’ Coming To Disney+ Released

Today at the Disney+ panel at the D23 Expo, the trailer for the upcoming Disney+ exclusive, Noelle, was released.

The film stars Anna Kendrick as the titular character who is the daughter of Santa Claus. It will be released on Disney+ launch day, November 12.

The story revolves around Santa’s daughter (Kendrick), presumably the titular Nicole, who is forced to take over the family business when her father retires and brother ends up getting cold feet prior to his first big Christmas Eve flight. Bill Hader will play Kendrick’s brother. Veteran actress Shirley MacLaine will play Elf Polly who was Nicole’s nanny and helped raise her all of her life. Billy Eichner is also cast in unknown role. Julie Hagerty will also star as Mrs. Claus.

The movie which has no relation to the Tim Allen trilogy of Santa Claus films is being written and directed by Marc Lawrence (Miss Congeniality). With Susanne Todd producing and Louie Provost overseeing the production. The film is expected to start production this fall. Disney is also developing Dashing Through The Snow starring Kevin Hart.
