It’s been over ten years since we’ve seen Liv Tyler’s as Betty Ross in Marvel Studios’ Incredible Hulk. However, thanks to a new rumor her character could be returning to the MCU.
According to reliable scooper Daniel Richtman (DanielRPK), Tyler is currently in early negotiations to reprise her role as Betty Ross in the Disney+ series She-Hulk. Richtman is also sharing that William Hurt’s Thunderbolt Ross is also in talks to appear.
It should be noted that there is currently no showrunners attached to this project, so things can go in a different direction at any moment.

The studio is currently looking to cast a 30-40 year old women to play Jennifer Walters aka She-Hulk. In the comics, Walters is Bruce Banner’s cousin, and became She-Hulk after Bruce provided her with blood in order to save her life. It’s unknown of the Disney+ series will remain faithful to this origin story.
It is unknown at this time when the series will kick off production, or when they will premiere on the streaming platform. The series will be apart of Marvel Studios Phase Four, which starts with Black Widow next year.
