‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’ Beats ‘Avengers: Endgame’ In Its First Hour of Ticket Sales on Atom Tickets

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker final trailer and tickets are finally here and fans already selling out theaters.

In its first hour of ticket sales, the new installment sold 45% more tickets than Avengers: Endgame sold during their first hour on Atom Tickets.  This is a new record for the company.

Avengers: Endgame made history this year by surpassing Avatar as the highest-grossing film of all time. It made $2.79 billion globally.

Avengers: Endgame used deleted scene re-release tactics to get ahead of Avatar, so it’ll be interesting to see what tactics The Rise of Skywalker uses to get ahead of their competition. The Rise of Skywalker is set to hit theaters on December 20, 2019.
