‘Loki’ Series Will Connect to ‘Multiverse of Madness’; ‘Hawkeye’ Originally Planned as a Film

Turns out, having a Disney+ subscription will be essential going into Phase 4 of the MCU.

Earlier this year at San Diego Comic-Con, CCO Kevin Feige revealed the events of WandaVision would tie directly into Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness with Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch appearing in the film.

Now, in a recent Bloomberg piece on Bob Iger and Disney+, Feige revealed that the upcoming Loki series will also tie into The Multiverse of Madness, saying, “I’m not sure we’ve actually acknowledged that before. But it does.”

Speaking of Disney+ series, Feige had initially planned for Hawkeye to be a film before deciding to turn it into a limited series. “[Jeremy Renner] totally got it and said, ‘Let’s do it,'” he stated.

Loki is set to debut on Disney+ in the Spring of 2021, while Hawkeye will premiere that Fall.
