Disney Updates Theatrical Release Schedule Through 2023

Yesterday, the Walt Disney Company revealed their theatrical release calendar through 2023. Sadly, for most of the dates we don’t know what films are their but are placeholder that studios use to claim that release date.

20th Century Fox has pushed back their Kingsman prequel The King’s Man from Valentine’s Day 2020 to September 18th, 2020. The studio also moved Ron’s Gone Wrong (November 6th, 2020 to February 26th, 2021) and Nimona (March 5th, 2021 to January 14th, 2022). Meanwhile, Fox’s Deep Water now has a release date set for November 13th, 2020 and Disney has officially green-lit The Last Duel and will debut on Christmas Day 2020 in limited release for an awards run, before expanding nationwide on January 8th, 2021.

You can check out what’s coming from Disney including live-action, animation, Pixar, Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, and Fox down below.

As you can see past 2020 most of these release dates are untitled however, we should assume some of these dates will be for films such as The Little Mermaid, Pinocchio, Snow White, Marley, The Jungle Book 2, Blade, Captain Marvel 2, Deadpool 3, Ant-Man 3 Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Kingsman 3, and many other titles that are in development from the company.
