‘WandaVision’ Coming To Disney+ In 2020

It looks we will be getting two new Marvel series on Disney+ as the streamer has teased that WandaVision will debut in 2020.

The streamer released a highlight video for some of new content coming in 2020, most of which we already knew including The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Stargirl, Timmy Failure, Lizzie McGuire, and many more. But the surprise was WandaVision was included, as it was previously announced that the series would debut in Spring 2021. Looks like production is moving quicker then they anticipated.

Paul Bettany reprises the role of Vision and Elizabeth Olsen returns to her role of Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, as they become the perfect married 50’s, nuclear family.

Teyonah Parris will also appear on the series as the grown-up version of Monica Rambeau, who was introduced to audiences in Captain Marvel. Kathryn Hahn is playing a nosey neighbor reportedly named Agatha. Josh Stamberg will also appear alongside Randall Park as secret agents.

According to recent reports Doctor Strange himself, Benedict Cumberbatch will be on set for the last week of filming for
WandaVision, which lines up with another story reported stating longtime Doctor Strange villain Nightmare would be the antagonist for the series, as well as Marvel Studios CCO Kevin Feige previously stating the film will lead directly into Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

The series is also rumored to have shot in front of a live studio audience, and will pay homage to the multi-camera sitcom comedies throughout television history, including I Love Lucy.
