Emily Blunt is no stranger to the Walt Disney Company, she appeared in the musical Into The Woods, she took on the iconic role of Mary Poppins in 2018’s Mary Poppins Returns and will team up with Dwayne Johnson later this year in Jungle Cruise. Well, it looks like the company wants to stay in business with Blunt. According to Murphy’s Multiverse, they are reporting that Blunt – while filming Jungle Cruise met with Marvel Studios for an undisclosed role on an undisclosed project. It is unknown at this time if anything came from this meeting. Read: Disney+ Series, ‘Loki’, Will Reportedly Feature Sera This news is really no surprise as it has been reported that Blunt was originally up for the role  of Black Widow and Captain Marvel before the studio ultimately decided going with Scarlett Johansson and Brie Larson. So there is some past history with Marvel and Blunt. What role would you like to Emily Blunt take on? We love the obvious answer, Sue Storm in a Fantastic Four reboot alongside her husband John Krasinski as Reed Richards aka Mr. Fantastic. Disney and movie fans alike can next see her in Walt Disney Studios Jungle Cruise, based on the classic Disneyland attraction, when it hits theaters on July 24, 2020. Source: Murphy’s Multiverse
