Jennifer Kaytin Robinson To Co-Write Marvel Studios’ ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’

Taika Waiti is coming off an Oscar win for his screenplay on Jojo Rabbit, his next project Next Goal Wins (also with Searchlight Pictures) recently wrapped production, and now his sights are set on Thor: Love and Thunder.

According to Variety, Jennifer Kaytin Robinson has been tapped by Watiti to assist on the script for the highly anticipated fourth installment in the Thor franchise. Robinson recently wrote and directed the Netflix original film Someone Great.

Chris Hemsworth will return as the titular character, along with Tessa Thompson as Valkryie, Natalie Portman makes her return as Jane Foster, it was announced at San Diego Comic-Con last year that Foster will become the Goddess of Thunder. We will also see Korg (played and voiced by Waititi) and his best friend and roommate Miek. Christian Bale is also in talks for an undisclosed role, but rumors have recently surfaced that the Dark Knight star could possibly be playing a villain. Plot details are being kept under wraps at this time.

Thor: Love and Thunder will begin production this Summer after Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings in at Fox Studios in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The film will be produced by Kevin Feige and will be released under Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios. Thor: Love and Thunder is set to hit theaters on November 5, 2021.

Jennifer Kaytin Robinson is best known for her work writing the MTV series Sweet/Vicious, which was about two young college women Hell-bent on bringing justice to those who get away with abuse on their college campus, and their double lives as wannabe vigilantes.
