Our friends over at The Illuminerdi have learned that Disney+’s She-Hulk will kick off production in August of this year and it will last until March 2021. This is a really long shooting schedule, so it’s raising some questions.

The series is currently in the casting process and Jessica Gao (Rick and Morty) is currently penning the script. Illuminerdi’s sources have told them that the script is currently unfinished, which is odd for a series that is so close to their production schedule.
The studio is currently looking to cast a 30-40 year old women to play Jennifer Walters aka She-Hulk. In the comics, Walters is Bruce Banner’s cousin, and became She-Hulk after Bruce provided her with blood in order to save her life. It’s unknown of the Disney+ series will remain faithful to this origin story.
It is also rumored that Liv Tyler and William Hurt would reprise their roles of Betty Ross and Thunderbolt Ross. However, there’s no definitive information yet.
The series will be apart of Marvel Studios Phase Four, which starts with Black Widow in March.
The series is expected to premiere in 2021.
