She-Hulk is starting up production this year but not many details have been made public yet. We still don’t have our titular character and no one knows exactly how the plot will unfold. However, there’s one big question that everyone is asking, will Mark Ruffalo reprise as Bruce Banner?
Back in November, Ruffalo teased that he had a planned meeting with Marvel Studios President and Chief Creative Office Kevin Feige. Well it looks like that secret meeting was indeed about She-Hulk.
During a panel at C2E2, Ruffalo confirms that he is in preliminary talks to come back as Banner for Disney+’s She Hulk. I’m sure this comes as a relief because having Banner NOT be in the series seems insane. It is unknown if he will be Professor Hulk as seen in Avengers: Endgame.

Mark Ruffalo first appeared as Bruce Banner/The Hulk in Marvel’s The Avengers in 2012, after replacing Edward Norton in the 2008 film.
The studio is currently looking to cast a 30-40 year old women to play Jennifer Walters aka She-Hulk. In the comics, Walters is Bruce Banner’s cousin, and became She-Hulk after Bruce provided her with blood in order to save her life. It’s unknown of the Disney+ series will remain faithful to this origin story. Jessica Gao (Rick and Morty) is currently penning the script.
The series will be apart of Marvel Studios Phase Four, which starts with Black Widow in May.
Marvel Studios’ She-Hulk is expected to premiere in 2021 on Disney+.
