Walt Disney Studios has announced that 20th Century Studios The Call of the Wild and Searchlight Pictures Downhill will both be available for purchase digitally starting March 27 here in the U.S..
The Call of the Wild, adapted from the novel by Jack London, it vividly brings to the screen the story of Buck, a big-hearted dog whose blissful domestic life is turned upside down when he is suddenly uprooted from his California home and transplanted to the exotic wilds of the Canadian Yukon during the Gold Rush of the 1890s. As the newest rookie on a mail delivery dog sled team–and later its leader–Buck experiences the adventure of a lifetime, ultimately finding his true place in the world and becoming his own master. The Call of the Wild employs visual effects and animation technology in order to bring the animals in the film to life.
The Call of the Wild is directed by Chris Sanders (Lilo & Stitch) and stars Harrison Ford (Star Wars), Omar Sy (Jurassic World), Dan Stevens (Beauty and the Beast), Karen Gillan (Avengers: Endgame), Bradley Whitford (Saving Mr. Banks), Cara Gee, Michael Horse, Jean Louisa Kelly, Colin Woodell, Adam Fergus and Abraham Benrubi.

Barely escaping an avalanche during a family ski vacation in the Alps, Downhill follows a married couple is thrown into disarray as they are forced to reevaluate their lives and how they feel about each other. Julia Louis-Dreyfus (A Bugs Life) and Will Ferrell (Daddy’s Home) star in this biting comedy. Downhill is directed by Nat Faxon and Jim Rash (The Way Way Back), written by Faxon, Rash and Jesse Armstrong (Succession). The film also stars Zach Woods (The Office), Zoe Chao (Where’d you go, Bernadette), Giulio Berruti (Monte Carlo), Kristofer Hivju (Game of Thrones) and Miranda Otto (Lord of the Rings).
