With the announcement of a new writer for Ant-Man 3, The GWW dropped some exclusive information about the films previous draft.
The site says that the first draft was written by Scott Lang himself, Paul Rudd. It was said to have featured MODOK and is organization AIM and they were going to be the antagonists for the film.

AIM was previously mentioned in Iron Man 3 and will be in Marvel’s newest film Black Widow.
MODOK stands for Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing. Having been a previous technician for AIM, George Tarleton, the lead scientist for the organization tasked him with developing a bio-engineered “living computer”. Tarleton was the test subject through these experiments, heavily deforming his body. His code name was M.O.D.O.C, which stood for Mental Organisim Desgined Only for Computing; however, due to being driven mad by the experiments, he changed the Computing to Killing. Thus M.O.D.O.K was born.
Orignially Marvel had intended to introduce the Fantastic Four into the Ant-Man film; however, that idea was scrapped. The reasoning for the sudden change of heart is up for debate but now they’re looking to introduce the Young Avengers.
Ant-Man and Ant-Man and the Wasp director Peyton Reed is returning to helm the film, with no current production start date set. Marvel Studios has yet to officially announce the project and likely won’t until Loveness completes the script.
