Grass-Fed Productions Reportedly Linked to Marvel Studios; Possibly ‘Blade’

Per Murphy’s Multiverse, they have learned that the recently created LLC “Grass-Fed Productions” is indeed linked to a Marvel Studios project, and will be shooting in the UK.

It is unconfirmed what the project could be, but one possible project could be the studios’ Blade reboot that has Academy Award winner Mahershala Ali (Green Book) set to star. Another speculated project is Sony Pictures’ untitled female-led Spider-verse (reportedly Spider-Woman) film set to be directed by Olivia Wilde (Booksmart), but all signs are pointing to Blade.

The Ronin pointed out that the previous Blade films were full of references to livestock and cattle, in Blade Trinity, this was further exploited on a larger scale as humans were being bled at Blood Farms.

As for Spider-Woman, Jessica Drew, who becomes Spider-Woman, and is a character Marvel Studios has had an interest in exploring, was actually raised by one of the High Evolutionary’s New Men, Bova, a cow evolved into a highly-intelligent humanoid. Bova cared for Jessica until she was a teenager and then placed her in an orphanage where Jessica stayed until her own adventures began. Drew’s origin has been retconned several times.

Despite all these connections, as we said before, it is unconfirmed what Marvel project Grass-Fed is linked to but time will tell.

As of now, both Blade and Spider-Woman both have no official release dates; however, Marvel Studios has an untitled film set to release on October 7, 2022, which is a perfect spot for Blade. Sony Pictures has an untitled Marvel film dated for October 8, 2021.
