Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Disneyland Delayed Until 2023

There is a lot of news and speculation coming out of Disneyland in Anaheim lately. From new statewide watch lists to possible reopening dates there is a lot of buzz at Walts original magical theme park. We are happy to report that Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway has finally begun noticeable construction in Toontown. Earlier this evening, Disneyland President Ken Potrock shared a view of Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway going vertical at Disneyland. Many Imagineerswere on hand as well for this milestone in construction.

According to Blog Mickey, Disney has also announced that the Runaway Railway that will open in 2023 now instead of the scheduled 2022 opening at Disneyland. The attraction has been delayed because of the ongoing COVID 19 pandemic. Stick with us here at The DisInsider for more park news as we get it.
