Georges St-Pierre Returns to The MCU For ‘The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’

Production is back on for the Marvel Studios’ Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Today, Just Jared shared some exclusive set photos featuring some of the cast and has confirmed the return of Georges St-Pierre’s Georges Batroc.

In the photos, which you can see below, also gives us a looks at Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter/Agent 13 and Desmond Chiam who will be playing an unconfirmed character.

Also todday, Sebastian Stan released a behind the scenes photo of him and Anthony Mackie, giving us a peek at their new suits.

Mackie and Stan return as Sam Wilson aka The Falcon and Bucky Barnes aka The Winter Soldier. Also reprising his role in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is Daniel Bruhl as Baron Zemo, who orchestrated the events of Captain America: Civil War. Newcomers to the MCU for the series include Wyatt Russell (son of Disney Legend Kurt Russell) is John Walker “U.S. Agent.” With Cle Bennett, Carl Lumbly, Desmond Chiam, Miki Ishikawa, Adepero Oduye, and Erin Kellyman, all in unknown roles. There have been reports that the Dora Milaje, who protects the king and the royal family of Wakanda in Black Panther, will also make an appearance.

All six episodes of the miniseries will be directed by Emmy nominee Kari Skogland (The Handmaids Tale, The Punisher), with Derek Kolstad (John Wick) apart of the writing team. Some reports surfaced that the series could have some sort of massive viral threat, and will introduce the villain turned hero team The Thunderbolts.
