‘Ms. Marvel’ Confirmed To Be Released In 2022

This just in!

According to Variety, Disney has confirmed that Ms. Marvel will not be released on Disney+ this year. Instead, it will be dropping on the streamer in early 2022.

Previously, it was believed that the series would be squeezed into the platform’s schedule after What If…? and before Hawkeye. Variety now claims that the decision to move the show was made “after so many shows and movies took over the calendar in 2021.”

It’s unclear when the series will drop, but even if it doesn’t premiere in the early months of the new year it will certainly come before The Marvels, which is slated to hit theaters a little over a year from now on November 11, 2022.

With Ms. Marvel star Iman Vellani confirmed to be starring in the film, the series will most definitely lay the groundwork for the film following the introduction (and origin story) of Monica Rambeau in WandaVision.

We’ll continue to provide updates to this story – and the eventual release of the highly anticipated series – as more information becomes available.
