Mary Elizabeth Winstead Joins Lucasfilm’s ‘Ahsoka’ Series At Disney+

After making a leap from scream queen to DC, ever so versatile Mary Elizabeth Winstead is making yet another leap. This time, however, she’s headed to a galaxy far, far away.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Winstead is the latest actor to join the upcoming live-action Star Wars series, Ahsoka. She joins the previously announced Rosario Dawson, as well as Hayden Christensen, Ivanna Sakhno and Natasha Liu Bordizzo.

After making her live action debut in the second season of the smash-hit series The Mandalorian, Dawson will reprise her role as the titular Jedi.

This will be Christensen’s second return to the franchise, however, after appearing in the streaming platform’s Obi-Wan Kenobi later this year.

It’s unclear who Winstead will be playing. Given her star power, it’s more than likely a major character.

Dave Filoni will return to both write and executive produce the series. Jon Favreau will also serve as executive producer.
