Marvel’s live-action adaptation of Secret Invasion is currently filming in England. Despite that one brief clip teased of an eyepatch-less Nick Fury on Disney+ Day, the project has remained shrouded in secrecy.

Previous leaked photos have offered a glimpse at Kingsley Ben-Adir’s villainous Skrull role, but thanks to new leaked photos shared by Reddit user u/crampedcaves345, the curtain has finally been peeled back a bit.
While the photos don’t reveal too much, they do tease an international story. From an Italian police car to a jungle-type setting to an underwater set of sorts, it appears that the titular Skrull invasion will be a lot bigger than we realize.

For those unfamiliar with the popular Secret Invasion crossover event in which the series will be based on, it chronicles the discovery that a secret sect of Skrulls plot to take over the world by slowly infiltrating, impersonating, and replacing people at every level of life on Earth including The Avengers.
As you might imagine, the show will create major trust issues…
Currently, aside from Jackson and Ben-Adir, Killian Scott, Ben Mendelsohn, Emilia Clarke, Olivia Colman there have been no other actors or characters from the MCU confirmed to appear. We expect that to change soon.
While the series was originally scheduled to drop later this year, it’s unclear if that will still be the case.
