Disney’s ‘Under Wraps’ Sequel Scares Up Two New Cast Members

According to Deadline, Disney’s recently announced Under Wraps sequel has just added two new cast members.

Claude Knowlton (Supergirl) and Antonio Cayonne (The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers) will now co-star in two key supporting roles.

Tentatively titled Under Wraps 2, despite the first one having somewhat of a happy ending, the sequel will once again be set during Halloween and revisit the three main characters Amy, Gilbert, and Marshall. This time the three of them must band together to protect their mummy friend Harold, when an evil mummy with a grudge against him awakens and threatens to hurt his beloved companion Rose.

Both Knowlton and Cayonne will play Amy’s two dads. Their wedding will also reportedly play a central plot point for the film. While They join other franchise newcomers T.J. Storm, Rryla McIntosh, Jordan Conley and Adam Wylie.

Original stars Malachi Barton, Christian J. Simon, Sophia Hammons, Phil Wright, and Melanie Brook will all return.

While it’s unclear when the film will begin production, given how quickly things are falling into place it wouldn’t be surprising if it was finished in time for a Halloween release later this year.

Similar to the first film, the sequel will be available to stream on Disney+ shortly after its debut on The Disney Channel.
