Josh Duhamel and Lauren Graham to Direct Episodes of ‘The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers Season 2’

It was announced yesterday that Season 2 of The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers‘ stars Josh Duhamel and Lauren Graham would each direct one episode of the new season, in addition to starring in the new season, as reported by Entertainment Tonight.

It was also announced in a tweet from Disney+, during their Disney Bundle event, with two first look pictures at Duhamel and Graham stepping into the directors’ chair, and having fun in the process. Duhamel is looking at monitors, while Graham is directing Brady Noon, who will be reprising his role as Evan Morrow:

Duhamel was announced as Emilio Estevez’s replacement, after the latter left the series in 2021, citing creative differences and revealing a long COVID diagnosis. The Transformers actor will be playing former NHL player turned coach Gavin Cole, and will be seemingly leading The Mighty Ducks in the new season.

It is still unclear when the second season is expected to release on Disney+, but it could be later this year, or in early 2023.
