Marvel Studios is keeping all other news under wraps, so no word on if Sebastian Stan will be reprising as Bucky Barnes. Last year, a report out of Deadline revealed that Chris Evans, who famously portrayed Captain America, will return to the MCU in his respective role. According to sources, it will not be for Captain America 4.
Malcolm Spellman, who was the head writer and showrunner for the hit series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, will be coming back to write the fourth installment of the Captain America franchise. Dalan Musson, a staff writer, will co-write the film with Spellman.
There are no casting announcements as of yet. However, our best guess is US Agent will most likely be the main antagonists for the film. No word on if Joaquin Torres aka the new Falcon is coming in as the new Falcon. We expect some more announcements on Captain America 4 to come during Marvel Studios panel at Disney’s D23 Expo in September.
