Natalie Holt Returning to Score ‘Loki’ Season 2

Composer Natalie Holt gained a lot notoriety for he work on Marvel Studios’ Loki last year. Her work was a highlight of the series, so much so Lucasfilm brought her on to score Obi-Wan Kenobi. Well, Holt is not done working with Disney.

According to Inverse, Holt is returning to score season of Loki, which is currently filming. While speaking with the site Holt revealed that she spoke with series star Tom Hiddleston, “I spoke to Tom Hiddleston and said ‘I hope they’re not like expecting a new theme for Loki Season 2. And he was like, ‘Oh, I think there would be outrage if we didn’t use your themes you’ve established in Season 2.’”

Owen Wilson and Gugu Mbatha-Raw are also confirmed to be returning. Wilson has been spotted recently in set photos, along with Hiddleston. Mbatha-Raw previously revealed in an interview with GMA that she’ll be returning as Ravonna Lexus Renslayer. Hiddleston went on to tell Jimmy Kimmel that the whole cast is back, so expect to see more familiar faces. Just recently, Eugene Cordero, who appeared in the first season as the TVA’s Secretary Casey, confirmed he will be reprising his role.

Details on Loki season two are being kept under wraps but the recent set photos do confirm that time travel is happening in the MCU again. Moon Knight directing duo Justin Benson and Aaron Moorehead are set to direct the six-episode series. Hot off Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Michael Waldron returns as head writer on the series. 

Season one of Marvel Studios’ Loki, which is streaming on Disney+, series sees the mercurial villain Loki (Tom Hiddleston) resume his role as the God of Mischief, and takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame.
