Marvel Studios Saving The Big Reveals For The D23 Expo

San Diego Comic-Con is this weekend and all eyes are on the big Hall H panels. Marvel Studios will be in attendance, and if SDCC 2019 taught us anything, Marvel likes to bring the goods. However, that isn’t expected to be the case this year.

According to Deadline, Marvel Studios will bring exclusive sneak peeks at She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The trade reports that the studio will not give fans a plethora of new material and sneak peeks as they did in 2019. The studio is saving all that for Disney’s D23 Expo, where Marvel will have their panel on Saturday, September 10.

This means any likelihood for first looks at footage for upcoming projects including Secret Invasion, The Marvels, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Ironheart, Echo, as well updates on future projects like Blade, Fantastic Four, and beyond will come during Disney’s big event in the second week of Septemeber.

On Saturday, September 10, filmmakers, celebrity talent, and surprise guests will join representatives from Marvel Studios and Lucasfilm, among others, on stage in Hall D23 at 10 a.m. to showcase theatrical and Disney+ titles. Going behind the scenes of these studios’ highly anticipated films, specials, and series, attendees will see exclusive footage and be among the first to learn what else is in the works. So I would expect a phase 5 announcement here.
