August 30, 2005: Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch Has a Glitch is released on DVD.

August 31, 1998: Hercules the Animated Series premieres in syndication.

September 1, 1983: Donald Duck Presents premieres on the Disney Channel.

September 2, 1979: Big Thunder Mountain Railroad opens at Disneyland’s Frontierland.

September 3, 2021: Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings opens in theaters. Happy 5th anniversary!

September 4, 1993: Bonkers premieres in syndication.

September 5, 1992: Goof Troop premieres in syndication.

Brief thoughts: The box office success of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings was important to the theater industry, which was recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic at the time. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is still a favorite at Disneyland almost 50 years later.
