A Sneak Peek at Andor

Disney+ Day reveals more of the upcoming Rogue One prequel series….

It wasn’t new to anyone who recently went to see Rogue One in IMAX (ahem), but it remains exciting.

Disney+ Day featured plenty of Star Wars goodness, but the new look at Andor brings us ever closer to the premiere of the Rogue One prequel series.

StarWars.com reported:

Released in celebration of Disney+ Day, this thrilling extended preview of Andor is the biggest look yet at the highly-anticipated Original Series. Starring Diego Luna as Cassian Andor and set five years prior to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Andor starts streaming September 21 with a three-episode premiere, only on Disney+.

The Promise of the Prequel

The official Disney+ media site promises:

The “Andor” series will explore a new perspective from the Star Wars galaxy, focusing on Cassian Andor’s journey to discover the difference he can make. The series brings forward the tale of the burgeoning rebellion against the Empire and how people and planets became involved. It’s an era filled with danger, deception, and intrigue where Cassian will embark on the path that is destined to turn him into a rebel hero.

“Rebellions are built on hope…”

Meanwhile, after you watch the new sneak peek, you can head out to the theater and re-watch Rogue One at AMC theaters.

“Looking to get ready for rebellion with Andor?” asked the StarWars.com team. “This is just about the best way to do it: Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is making a surprise return to AMC theaters to mark Disney+ Day from September 8-19 (Other Disney fan favorites are also screening).”

See you on the couch (and then the cineplex)!
