Thursday evening, the 2022 Golden Trailer Awards took place in California.
As the name implies, the award ceremony honors the best promotional materials across movies, television, and even video games.
Out of the nearly 20 awards, Disney sadly only won 2 – one for Hulu’s The Great and another for National Geographic’s groundbreaking documentary The Rescue.
Top Gun: Maverick ended up as the night’s biggest winner scoring a total of 3 awards for Best Action Movie Trailer, Best Summer Blockbuster Trailer – Summer 2022, and the top prize Best of Show.
