Terry’s going to live this.
Hulu’s smash-hit animated series Solar Opposites has officially been renewed for a fifth season at the streamer. The news comes on the heels of the show’s Halloween special, which debuted earlier this week, and ahead of the series’ fourth season premiere.
It was confirmed at New York City Comic-Con Thursday evening.
For those unfamiliar with the series. Created by Justin Roiland (Rick and Morty) and Mike McMahon (Star Trek: Lower Decks), the series revolves around a family of aliens sent here to take over the Earth…eventually.

The family consists of Korvo (played by Roiland), Terry (Thomas Middleditch), Yumyulack (Sean Giambrone), Jesse (Mary Mack), and a cute and terrifying creature called the Pupa who will one day transform and terraform Earth’s ecosystem so that the aliens can final rule it.
That’s it. That’s all the show’s about. There isn’t an entire subplot dedicated to tiny humans forced to recreate society inside of a “wall” or anything like that. Don’t believe me? See for yourself then!
The first 3 seasons and the Halloween special titled Sinister Halloween Scary Opposites Solar Special can be streamed exclusively on Hulu now.
