At Disney’s D23 Expo Frozen and Enchanted star Idina Menzel was honored as a Disney Legend for contributions to The Walt Disney Company. Now, the superstar is set to get her own documentary on Disney+.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Idina Menzel: Which Way to the Stage? will focus on the life and career of the Tony winner and culminate in her headlining a concert at Madison Square Garden in her hometown of New York City after a nationwide tour.
The documentary is already set to hit Disney+ on December 9.
Anne McCabe directed the documentary, which will feature footage of Menzel in her most notable stage performances, Rent and Wicked, as well as interviews with family, friends, co-stars, and creatives. It will also chronicle her personal experiences with in vitro fertilization.

She also played Nancy Tremaine in the 2007 fantasy hybrid film, Enchanted, and will soon reprise her role in its 2022 sequel, Disenchanted. She also voiced Circe in the Hercules: The Animated Series episode “Hercules and the Song of Circe”. In addition, she appeared as a replacement actor in the role of Amneris in Broadway’s production of Aida.
