Following the release of Hocus Pocus 2 on Disney+, it’s only natural that the company begins to market its next legacy sequel, Disenchanted. After all, the film is slated to hit the streamer next moth right?
…Yes! But while it’s original premiere date was slated to be November 24th, we’ve come across some new information that suggests it’ll actually hit the streamer a lot sooner – 6 days sooner to be exact.

In the film’s latest press release, the new release date for the film is updated to be November 18, 2022.
While we originally thought it was a mistake, the date is actually listed twice so we’re certain that this new date will stick.
So there you have it, Disenchanted will be available to enjoy for all Disney+ subscribers exclusively beginning November 18th!

Disenchanted will see the return of Amy Adams, Patrick Dempsey (who will also be making his singing debut), Idina Menzel, and James Marsden. Also joining Yvette Nicole Brown in their franchise debut are Maya Rudolph, Jayma Mays, Oscar Nunez, Kolton Stewart, James Monroe Iglehart, and Gabriella Baldachino join the cast.
The film is directed by Adam Shankman (Hairspray) and produced by Barry Josephson (Enchanted, TV’s Bones), Amy Adams (Arrival, American Hustle) and Barry Sonnenfeld (Men in Black, Addams Family Values). It will also feature new songs from Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz, whose work on Enchanted garnered three Academy Award nominations.
UPDATE: An earlier version of this article listed the new date as 2023. That was a really really really bad typo. We assure you the film is still coming out this year! APOLOGIES!!!!
