New ‘Wakanda Forever’ TV Spot Offers Closer Look At Who Will Be The Next Black Panther

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will officially hit theaters in exactly three weeks. Despite the film already tracking a 9-digit box office opening, Marvel has already begun to pull out all the stops with its marketing.

At the stroke of Midnight EST, not only did Taylor Swift drop her new album, but Marvel also unveiled a brand new TV spot for the forthcoming film. While many are probably excited to play the former, we promise that the latter has some great new footage, as well as another exciting look at whoever will be taking on the mantle from the late Chadwick Boseman.

Additionally, Marvel Studios unveiled new character posters for the film.

In case it isn’t inherently obvious, it looks as if Shuri will indeed be the next Black Panther. However, we won’t know for sure until we get to see that mask come off on November 11th.

In Marvel Studios’ Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira) and the Dora Milaje (including Florence Kasumba), fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death. As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) and forge a new path for the kingdom of Wakanda. Introducing Tenoch Huerta as Namor, king of a hidden undersea nation, the film also stars Dominique Thorne, Michaela Coel, Mabel Cadena and Alex Livanalli.

Tickets are available now.
