New Trailer and Poster For ‘The Santa Clauses’ Debuts

People has offered a first look at the brand new Disney+ series The Santa Clauses, a sequel series to the popular holiday trilogy starring Tim Allen.

The series follows Scott Calvin (Allen), who is on the brink of his 65th birthday and realizing that he can’t be Santa forever. He’s starting to lose a step in his Santa duties, and more importantly, he’s got a family who could benefit from a life in the normal world, especially two sons, one that grew up in Lakeside, Illinois and one that grew up at the Pole. With a lot of elves, children, and family to please, Scott sets out to find a suitable replacement Santa while preparing his family for a new adventure in a life south of the pole.

Elizabeth Mitchell, Eric Lloyd, and David Krumholtz are also back reprising their roles from the film series. Also set to star is Kal Penn, Austin Kane, Elizabeth Allen Dick, Matilda Lawler, Peyton Manning, and Laura San Giacomo as Befana, the villainous Christmas Witch, the Italian folkloric holiday figure who lives in the Wobbly Woods.

Jason Winer directs the series. Award-winning Jack Burditt (30 Rock, Modern Family, Frasier, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt) is the executive producer and showrunner, and Kevin Hench (Last Man Standing), Richard Baker, and Rick Messina will also serve as executive producers alongside Tim Allen.

The Santa Clauses is scheduled to be released on November 16, 2022, on Disney+, with its first two episodes available immediately.
