SEE IT: Leaked Funko Pop Reveals First Look At Live-Action M.O.D.O.K. In ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’

Last month, we finally got the first trailer for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. However, it left fans with more questions than answers. One of those questions being how M.O.D.O.K. figures into everything.

After his appearance in the film was confirmed at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, many still do not know how large of a role he will have, who will play him, or what he will look like when he finally makes his live-action debut.

While we still have to wait until February to get answers to those first two questions, one image floating around might have just may have actually given away the latter.

This weekend, YouTuber Cris Parker took to social media to share an image of a M.O.D.O.K. Funko seemingly designed for the film. While it’s not made entirely clear where the figure is from, the image is clear enough for fans to get an idea of what he will look like in the final product.

You can check it out down below for yourself!

Now, if you’re familiar with the character and his design, you may realize that some major liberties have been taken. However, the core idea is still there. The character still has his same shape, his chair, and his sinister smile. The red eyes do make him look like even more of a menace, but the missing headpiece is arguably the most notable change.

Regardless of whatever changes have been made though, we just hope they don’t ruin the character’s signature voice. Since being adapted as an antagonist in several of the animated series and video games, it has become one of his most recognizable and iconic traits.

What do you think of the image? Does it excite you even more about the film? Or is it still too early to tell? Sound off below!

Having previously directed the first two installments, now that Quantumania has wrapped filming, Reed is the second director to complete a trilogy set within the MCU after Jon Watts.

In the film, Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly will reprise their roles as the titular duo. Michael Douglas and Michelle Pfeiffer will also return as Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne, the characters who donned the outfits and alter egos first.

New to the cast is Kathryn Newton. She’ll be replacing Emma Fuhrmann as Cassie Lang a.k.a Stature in the films going forward. Fuhrmann portrayed the character in Avengers: Endgame.

Additionally, Jonathan Majors is expected to reprise his role as Kang the Conquerer. Originally, it was believed that he would be making his debut in the film, but that was before he appeared in Loki as the character under the pseudonym “He Who Remains”. Whether or not the version of the character we meet will be a variant or the actual version we’ve already met remains to be seen.

Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania opens in theaters on February 17, 2023!
